I

The world does not need what it thinks it needs

Every institution has failed to build a better world - every organization that collapsed, every relationship that fractured, every promise that went unkept - failed because of the people inside it, not the systems around them.

We have built better systems. They have not saved us. We have developed better technology. It has not saved us. We have refined better philosophy. It has not saved us.

Because the human challenge was never merely physiological. It was never even been psychological. The human challenge has always been ontological.

This means it lives at the level of who we are Being which comes before our levels of Doing or Having. But Being is at the source of everything human.

Yet that is where we have put our attention the least. We easily get caught up in improving how we Do things in order to maximize what we Have.

Nothing of consequence can happen without addressing - who we are Being.

The better person is already within you!

This is not a philosophy of potential. It is a declaration of fact. The better person is not someone you become by learning more, achieving more, or disciplining yourself more. The better person is already within you - present, complete, and waiting.

What stands between who you have been being and who you truly are is not asome weakness or flaw. It is your inner Blindspot Machinery that has been shaping tur choices since birth. Not a flaw - a survival driven structure that is more powerful than you, progressive in that it only gets stronger, and it limits us from engaging in anything that it considers a threat to our survival. It was built to keep you safe. It has kept you safe. And in doing so, it has kept you small.

The five components of the Blindspot Machinery include: Aversion. Avoidance. Adaptation. Attachment. Addiction. Together they form a closed system, that proceeds unseen as it shapes your choices. It will rebel against every risky insight, impulse, or intention. It builds greater power and sustains itself through the very resistance you bring against it.

That is why all of your effort has not produced the transformation you are after. The machinery was not seen and therefore not addressed. It was worked around.

Human Nature plus Human Spirit equals Human Being

The Blindspot Machinery is not the enemy, it is Human Nature, a child of Mother Nature - and it has an equal and opposite counterpart: Human Spirit which is not constrained by the laws of nature.
